We had the Green Up Your Act workshop on the first Friday back to school this year. This has been a very positive way to launch our eco year at the school! The Assembly before the workshop was well presented and we all found it interesting and interactive. The workshop: we loved the idea of discovering products made from recycled materials, some of which we were surprised about – a pencil case made out of sweet wrappers, what a brilliant idea! The children and adults had a lovely time learning how to make the recycled notebooks and children have been very inspired from the assembly, with some asking their teacher once back in class if there could be ways we could reduce our laminating in schools.
